UFC 323 Caps 2025 with Electrifying Fights and Historic Title Defenses
The UFC closed out its 2025 pay-per-view schedule in spectacular fashion on Saturday night, bringing a stacked card to Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena. The event, UFC 323, was headlined by a men’s bantamweight championship rematch and featured dramatic finishes that fans won’t soon forget.

In the main event, the promotion’s most active champion, Merab Dvalishvili, solidified his legacy with a fourth title defense this year against the relentless Petr Yan. Dvalishvili’s unparalleled activity and grappling prowess were once again the difference in a hard-fought battle. Yan, who entered on a three-fight win streak since their first meeting in 2023, found himself unable to solve the champion’s puzzle for a second time.

The co-main event saw a clash at flyweight, where the legendary champion Alexandre Pantoja turned back the challenge of rising star Joshua Van. Pantoja, the UFC’s longest-reigning titleholder, used his veteran experience to navigate Van’s attacks and retain his belt.
Undercard Delivers Unforgettable Violence and Quick Finishes
The main card was preceded by a series of jaw-dropping performances that set the tone for the evening.

In a middleweight contest, Marvin Vettori faced Brunno Ferreira in a pivotal bout for the division’s rankings. (Full results for this fight were pending at the time of writing).
Earlier, Jalin Turner made a triumphant return from a brief retirement, scoring a devastating first-round TKO over veteran striker Edson Barboza. The win marked Turner’s first victory since 2023 and instantly re-established him as a threat in the lightweight division.
The award for the night’s most chaotic brawl undoubtedly went to the light heavyweights. In his promotional debut, Poland’s Iwo Baraniewski remained undefeated (7-0) by stopping Ibo Aslan via TKO in a wild, back-and-forth slugfest that lasted just 89 seconds. Both men were dropped in the opening minute before Baraniewski found the fight-ending shot. “He hurt me, so I must hurt him,” the newcomer stated post-fight.

Submission artists also shined. Mansur Abdul-Malik continued his undefeated run with a lightning-quick standing guillotine choke victory over Antonio Trocoli, ending the fight in just 1:09 of the first round.
Kicking off the televised card, Mairon Santos (5-0 UFC) stole the show with a blistering third-round knockout of Muhammad Naimov. After two tentative rounds, Santos landed a perfect counter right hand 21 seconds into the final frame for a walk-off KO win.
